Little did anyone realize the impact that this one book would make in the lives of many citizens in the Ozark Mtn. Region. 100 Acres of hair raising fun. Silver Dollar City, a theme park built around a town of the 1880s feature one of the Nations largest working craftsman and shops galore. Ralph Foster was one of the true pioneers of radio starting a 50 watt station KGBX in a corner of their Firestone tire store in Springfield, MO. A hobby quickly grew into a thriving business. He was the first to begin bringing in live talent of many famous country music stars such as Slim Wilson, Porter Wagoner, Chet Atkins, the Carter Family, Homer and Jethro, Red Foley, and many more. For years, a collector of indian artifacts he has established this museum for the enjoyment of all. |
